Aside from offering general assistance, White River Valley Electric's Operation Round Up program bolsters higher education by allocating a special portion of monthly collections for scholarship funding.
Scholarship applications for full-time students are available February though April. Under-graduate students residing within White River's service territory are welcome to apply. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of financial need, overall academic performance, extracurricular involvement and college acceptance.
On behalf of its supporters, Operation Round Up awarded more than $826,700.00 toward college tuition and expenses during the program's first thirteen years.
