Upcoming Hooked on Education tournament benefits scholarship trust
Branson, Mo. – White River Valley Electric Cooperative’s annual Hooked on Education fishing tournament to benefit the Scholarship Trust Fund will be held on Saturday, May 4. First flight will launch at 7 a.m. from Theodosia Marina at Bull Shoals Lake.
“This year marks the 20th anniversary for our Operation Round Up program,” Tournament Director Cindy Rains said. “With the help of our scholarship trust fund, we have been able to provide local students with more than $1.2 million in tuition assistance towards college tuition and career training expenses.”
