WRVEC’s Assistant Manager of Safety and Training, Claude Koenig, has completed an intensive program in electric utility safety and loss control. The Loss Control Internship is a series of workshops offered by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in conjunction with the National Utility Training & Safety Education Association.

Stephen Copeland, Ava, and Bethany Miller, Branson, were among the 109 high school students from across Missouri who participated in the Missouri Electric Cooperative CYCLE (Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience) program.

More training wraps for utility linemen safety

More local lineman were sent for safety training. Mathew Maggard and Zack Farmer, employee(s) of White River Valley Electric Cooperative, Branson, attended the Overhead and Aerial Basket School at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives Training Center on April 24-27 in Jefferson City.
