Scholarships
To encourage the pursuit of higher learning in our community, White River Valley Electric Cooperative (WRVEC) has allocated funds from Operation Round Up to offer $1,500 scholarships to local undergraduates within the community. In 31 years of existence, Operation Round Up has given over 2 million in scholarship funds.
To be eligible, applicants must either (1) reside in our five-county service territory or (2) go to a high school located in our five-county service territory. Students may re-apply to receive the scholarship up to four times, but re-acceptance is not guaranteed.
The 2023-2024 scholarship will be awarded to students who have demonstrated the drive to impact their local community by service of various kinds while maintaining academic excellence.
